AMAG Austria Metall AG is Austria’s largest aluminum producer, manufacturing primary aluminum as well as high-quality cast and rolled products for the automotive, aerospace, and packaging industries at its Ranshofen site. The energy-intensive melting, casting, and rolling processes operate in multi-shift shifts. A PV system with 7,115.59 kWp is installed on the factory roofs, covering part of the electricity requirements for aluminum production.
